As always gotta love the vet wrap. My boss has a bad burn on his arm that is slowly healing. He needs to be on camera so we wrap his wrist before he goes on camera. It works really well. It breaths well enough and it covers the area as well.
Plantar Fascitis September 10, 2008 smilesalltheway (Battleground, Washington USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Better than orthodics for plantar fascitis. Wrap from the bottom of the foot up over the arch and around a few times. I do it over a sock. It's good for animals too.
A life saver May 10, 2008 K. Fulton (Colorado) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I didn't have any experience with animal first-aid when my dog was attacked at the park by another dog, and left with a hole in her skin that would take 4.5 months for the skin to grow back. I had to put a special gel bandage on her every other day for 4.5 months, and the vet had me using tape, which either didn't stay on because of her hair, or if you did get it to stick, it hurt her when you tried to take it off. At one point, she was hiding under the bed from me because she didn't want me to hurt her anymore... I found Vet Wrap by accident when I was buying the gel bandages online, and it literally saved my sanity.
I still have some left over years later, and tonight I am going to try using it to cover my newly drawn henna tattoo on my leg to try to keep the paste on overnight.
Vet wrap very useful November 22, 2007 tChurch (ABQ, NM, USA) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Useful stuff for many things. I use Vet wrap instead of compression stockings, the cost of vet wrap vs the stocking comparable and the wrap doesn't fail or roll down my legs. Also for minor injuries, better than band-aids. if you have pets, can be used to wrap injuries, and for low pressure wrapping things together. I use the stuff for vets, the "human" brand costs 4x and is the same stuff in a less useful 2 inch width. I like the 3Com brand (Vetwrap) seems to be fresher, more flexible then the others
Great Stuff!! August 18, 2007 Guinivere 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This wrap is fully equal to what you would buy at a drugstore to wrap ankles, keep bandages on, etc. in an emergency.
