Helpful for Dwarf Miniature Horse issues February 1, 2010

My dwarf horses only weighed about 50 lbs when I started the Cosequin and the dosage on the container didn't make sense for that size. I called the manufacturer (number on the container) & was immediately connected to a vet who addressed my concerns.
It took about 3 weeks to see a difference - dwarf horses have malformed legs and suffer from twisted joints. These little guys spent most of their life laying down because standing was obviously painful.
It's been about 8 weeks since they started using Cosequin, they are on maintenance now. They are not laying down as much as overall seem much more content.
